Pre-registration is advisable to save time and money, and to ensure your registration package will be available for collection when you arrive. The only registration method available is through the conference web site, as it places your details directly into our database, and where you can pay by credit card (Visa, Master, Diners, Discover, and American Express) through our secure web server. Wire transfers will be accepted only by October 24, and will be charged a AUD 50.00 service fee. You receive all detailed information on wire transfers with your confirmation after you have registered yourself. All payments must be received by October 24, 2018.

Both actions are mandatory to be eligible for a student registration. If you do not provide the student status documentation you will be charged the full registration rate.

All on-site registration will be performed via the online registration page. If you choose to register on-site, you must first register yourself online. You may do this via any computer with internet access. There will be computers near the registration desk that you may use to register. Next, proceed to the “Onsite Registration” booth of the Registration desk where you will obtain your conference materials. A nametag is required to attend all conference events, so you must visit the Registration desk after you have electronically registered.
NOTE: Wire transfers WILL NOT be accepted on-site. Payment on-site must be made via credit card or cash.
All badges and conference materials must be picked up at the Registration desk.
You will be required to present photo identification (passport, ID or driver’s license) to obtain your conference materials. Please have it with you when you visit the Registration Desk, or you will be asked to return when you have it.
For security purposes, all attendees are required to wear their badge for entry into session rooms. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have your badge at all times.
A fee will be charged for badge replacement.

All cancellation requests (partial or full) must be received in writing by October 31, 2018 for consideration. Approved refunds (less an AUD50 administrative fee) will be issued after November 30, 2018. No refunds will be issued for requests after October 31, 2018.
An IEEE Membership Desk will be located in in front of the Registration Desk. Staff will be available to answer questions about membership benefits. Conference attendees who paid non-member registration fees are eligible for a $100 discount towards a regular (non-student) IEEE 2018 membership that also includes free membership in NPSS -- all courtesy of NPSS. Students joining at the conference can receive a year’s free membership by providing a statement from their mentor that they are full-time students. Online access to the Transactions on Nuclear Science and Transactions on Plasma Science journals, as well as the NPSS newsletter is included with NPSS membership. Please visit the IEEE Membership Desk to take advantage of these offers.
Note that new membership obtained at the Conference does not provide eligibility for reduced IEEE member registration fees.
To become a member before registering for the conference, visit https://www.ieee.org/membership/join/index.html. If you become a member just before registering, you will need to email ieee@eventclass.com, and provide proof of your new membership, including your membership number. Once they enter your new number into our system, they will let you know that you can proceed with registration as a member.
